1st Makeup Review...Cream Blushers

Hey girls,
These are some of the cream/mousse blushers that i have:
Maybelline Dream Mousse in Soft Plum 04
Maybelline Dream Mousse Peach Satin
Stila Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Cream Peony 3

Maybelline Dream Mousse:
You can't fond the Maybelline ones in stores anymore because it has been discontinued. I got mine from ebay for about RM10 a piece. So it was a good deal. I really like the texture of it, and it blends really well. And it stays well on oily skin too. Although Soft Plum has a some shimmer in it, it is not overpowering. Makes you look really fresh and glowing. I'd recommend the Soft Plum because it looks more natural and gives you that nice winter rosieness. The one in Peach Satin is a little bit orangey, looks good on people with light skin tone only. It does not show up well compared to Soft Plum, as you can see in the picture, i made quite a big scoop in it. And i think it will make darker skintones look really washed out.

Stila Convertible:
I have fair-medium skin, yellow undertones, very oily. This does not impress me as much as i hope it to be. It is really overpriced, definitely not recommended if you live in a hot humid weather. The lasting power is very poor (about 3 hrs), the color did not show on me, it is more suitable for people with fairer and normal-dry skin types. The good side is that it blends really well, and i prefer using a foundation brush and apply it in a dabbing motion instead of brushing it on cz the color will fade. The same goes when i tried using my fingers, most of the color got stuck on my fingers instead of my cheeks, and its really unhygienic for me to stick my finger in the product as well. Besides that, i find it really difficult to open the compact. Most of the time, i end up destroying my nails trying to open it.

UPDATE: After a few weeks of use, i decided that im not really liking this product, the colour did not sink into my skin well, giving me that lacquer look. However, the staying power was pretty good, stays on the whole day, and did not appear blotchy. But i did not like the lacquer effect, and the muddy colour.

I think Stila is only available at Stila counters, i think Kuching does not have one right now. Keep our fingers crossed that it will open up soon at The Spring or Parkson. The packaging is waaayyy cute. But waaayyy pricey. I think the blusher is about Rm70-80 a piece. Phew...it burnssssss
