Truth be told i've always been the kinda girl who aspires to be looked at as "smart". U know? The Kate Winslet, Lisa Ling, those Bloomberg, CNBC correspondents kinda smart. A person who actually knows what they are talking about. If someone where to come up to me and shoots up a topic on politics, culture, trade. I would be shooting blanks. Most of the time i'm not even sure what i'm blabbering about. And i do admit taking Whoopi Goldberg's thoughts from The View's Hot Topics segment to impress people. I want to be the kinda of person who voice her thoughts and it would make people go EXACTLY! I WAS JUST ABOUT TO SAY THAT!. Right now, i feel like my brain working as smart as those laguna girls. Phhwttt! I don't understand why would people want to purposely make themselves look dumb. I just hate the way those Kardashian girls talk. It's as if they have a candy in their mouth that automatically makes them go in slow mo, and dumber. You can get away with nonsense if you tell it right. One trick my boyfriend thought me is to keep a straight face, and keep your mind off the subject. FAILED!

Other sites do the thinking for you. I find this site is amazingly difficult to maneuver. Especially when i'm posting something that is image heavy, my text and picture goes everywhere around except for the place where i want it to be. And it is not "post" friendly at all, i can't seem to get the functions that allows me to post music/videos easily. The people on facebook are nice enough to simplify things for us by just clicking on the facebook button on Youtube vids. I don't even have to sign in. Genius! I hate this blog because it is not user friendly. BOO! I'm giving this the X

Cyril introduced me to this, and i can't stop listening to it since. I love how that song starts out with the marching drumbeat, with the "sour-ish" guitar, and the vocalist's cool crisp voice. It's like breakfast in a London morning. (As if!!!pwwffttt!) It's my new "Thinking of You" :P

Sorry bout my poor and stupid way of describing music. I'm sure most of you musical connoisseurs out there is doing your LMAO's. To me the guitar sounds sour-ish because if it was a flavour, that is the flavour i would describe it. Maybe it's the "pulled" sound it makes. Pulled+Guitar = Sour-ish sound. Makes total sense to me.

Review - Lumiere Veena Velvet Mineral Foundation

Skin type = normal to oily

Coverage - buildable light medium to heavy

Finish = matte

Ingredients = premium grade serecite (colorless mica), titanium dioxide, avena sativa, zinc oxide, iron oxide, magnesium stearate.

I've had this for a long time, i think it has been marinating in my drawer 2 years or so. But zee best thing about mineral makeup is that it does not expire because it does not contain any chemicals or preservatives that could go funkay. Recently, it has been the to go to foundation.
Why have i abandoned it for so long?
- it gave me an itch the first few times i wore it, others suffered the same problem
- i had funky bumps on my skin after usage
- the colour was a little bit too dark for me
- applying mineral makeup is messy because the powder gets all over the place

Why have i gotten back to it?
- i noticed if you use a foundation shade that is slightly darker than your skintone, it will automatically make you look slimmer
- this foundation is soooooo LONG LASTING even after a disco dangdut joget berdansa session
- it mattifies my oil slicked face really well
- it has stopped giving me bumps

For your information, i could compete for the WORLD'S OILIEST FACES if there is such a competition. I get so disgustingly oily after just 3 hours of washing. ewwwwwwww :( And when i have my pictures before blotting my face with my trusted Clean & Clear Oil Blotting Sheets (shuka), it looks like someone sprayed my face with WD-40. Hawt dayum! The shine on my nose gets so bad sometimes you can't even see it on camera, because it bounces of soo much flash from the camera.
Lesson to girls - avoid anything that has shimmer, sheen, glitter, radiance, illuminating written on it when you know you're gonna have pictures taken with FLASH. BAD idea.
Enough about my very own oil rig on my face, the way i use this now is i wet a powder brush a lil, then i tap some of the powder on the cap, and swirl my brush around it. The foundation will stick perfectly on the bristles. I press the foundation lightly around my face and swirl the brush in vigorous circular strokes to blend. And wowZa! Perfect Matte skin all day long. Because it is matte, it will come off nicely in photos, even with flash. Overall this is a wonderful foundation for oily skin.

Annoying songs in blogs..... Argghhh!!

I find it really annoying if there are those mini little playlist on some blogs. And i can't seem to make it stop. Playing over n over and over...and sometimes it would get stuck along the way, expecially if you have your own songs playing on your player, you'd be left wondering where the hell is the other song coming from. It does not make the blog any more interesting, what it's good at is making me clicking X on the tab. Me no loikes it :(

Jam and butter on toast

Hey blog..im feelin especially happy today. Loads of blessings in my life, and also decisions to be be made. This is about as personal as i can get on my blog. I'm not the kinda person who likes to out my laundry. Btw, im feelin a tad feverish today. Pretty worried cz it's denggue season and i've had it before. It's not that bad, but the medical bill sucks out the blood outta my parents. It takes 3k to undo what a teeny bloody mosquito did to me. Fuck em nasty bastards!

Someone please hit me in the face and tell me Kate Moss is not super smokin' cool! If i was given a choice of the look i'll be born with, it's this goddess. She's one of the two chicks (ScarJo would be the other babe) i'd trade looks with in a snap! I love her style..cool gunmetal sexy (that's the best description i can come up with for now). Her looks...smoke- ring-puffing-rare jewel-bohemian rocker goddess (????). I'm planning to purchase her fragrance. Spritz some on that day, and it smells swonderfully delish. Floral and musky at the same time. I hate fresh scents (Davidoff Cool Water, Polo etc). Gives me headaches. It means im close right?? We totally have the same taste on scents babe, we sooo totally can hang out together. If i can't look like Kate, at least i could smell like her, or at least that's what she wants us to believe. Aahhhh, the joy of over zealous marketing to fool idiots like myself.
